White Chevy Van FOR SALE!

This 1987 Chevy Beauville Window Van needs some repairs, but could be a nice work vehicle.

It could be use it for parts or be repaired. It is currently inspected until July of 2007.

It is an automatic. Has manual windows. Has Power Locks - however, they do not work correctly all the time. Most of the time it will lock all the doors (except the driver's door) but it will no longer unlock them.

Windows and windshield are in good condition - no cracks in any of them.

Interior is fair. Has blue rug on entire floor - no tears in rug, but there are a few stains. Headliner came loose and has been reattached in places with staples and/or thumbtacks. Driver's seat has several tears in bottom portion of seat. Front passenger seat also has tears in the bottom portion of seat. Two bench seats are in fairly good condition. One is missing an ashtray insert however. Spare tire cover is in good condition.

Tires are about two years old and would probably pass inspection again.

The transmission was rebuilt several years ago, however, I stopped driving it because it was having difficulty shifting out of second (or maybe it was first) gear. Not sure if it needs rebuilt again or just needs some minor repairs. (A friend told me that her van was doing something similar and it turned out to be a speed sensor, which cost around $30 to replace.)

Vehicle does leak various fluids. The power steering pump leaks. It also leaks oil. I think something else also leaks, but I can't think of what it is at the moment.

Husband did a lot of body work to it in the past, on side panels and bottoms of doors, but it is beginning to rust in other spots.
